I found Kim's guide “The Seven Deadly Sins Women in Direct Sales Make…and How to Avoid Them” to be very inspiring and oh so true. Especially the part about how we need to surround ourselves with motivated, like-minded people who have a positive aura about them. These are the type of people you want to bring along with your on your journey to achieve your goals.
I like how Kim shows women not to give up when they get a negative response. Personally, that has never bothered me but it could come from being a mom. How many times have our kids told us no when we asked them to clean something up? But they eventually do clean up and the same goes with potential customers, etc. Kim encourages me to keep a positive attitude. Since joining The Metromom GET IT DONE Circle, the main thing I have noticed is that my mindset and confidence about my business have skyrocketed. Before Metromom, I was doing a reasonable job of maintaining my direct sales business, yet I knew it was not nearly as profitable or as focused as I knew it could be.

What makes Metromom a unique place for the direct sales entrepreneur is this – it’s focused on the issues that we face as members of the direct selling industry. Other networking groups are great, but they don’t understand some of the challenges in our industry.

Participating in Ladies Who Launch Incubator Workshop was just wonderful. Kim is an amazing facilitator. She encouraged me to forward think and to see through the eyes of our fellow launching ladies to what I am capable of accomplishing.
I do believe Kim and LWL came into my life at the right time. I would not have been ready 6 months ago. At first I was uncertain of what to expect from the Ladies Who Launch Incubator Workshop. However, by the end of the first night I was sold. Each homework assignment pushed me further and further out of my comfort zone and towards my future. I know what I am capable of accomplishing and why women should hire me to help them with their wardrobes. I owe much of this to Kim and the workshop. I have a great eye for what clothes work together, how to mix and match, and what's needed to enhance a woman's wardrobe. Taking part in the Incubator Workshop helped me to recognize my worth.
Since completing the workshop I now have several clients. My sessions with them have been very successful and I am looking forward to more consulting/shopping with them as well as others.
