Who is a Metromom?
When I talk about a Metromom, I mean a driven, motivated and evolving mom who wants fulfillment in her life and wants to connect with other like-minded women and get things done, quickly. She is dynamic, entrepreneurial, ambitious, kind and generous. She wants to be successful on her own terms and have her business be a true reflection of her own dreams.
These are the things that really matter to you when you’re a Metromom:
- Efficiency – You are someone who has a lot to accomplish in life who wants to do it with maximum energy and minimum stress. You appreciate anything, which supports efficiency: Internet shopping, home delivery, carpooling, online banking, flexible work arrangements, etc.
- Creativity – You think outside the box and are open to new experiences, challenges and adventures. You’re open-minded and open-hearted. You want fun, flexibility, choice and financial freedom.
- Support – You long to be a part of a soulful community. You probably count on a supportive spouse, friends, family and support people (lifestyle coach, wardrobe consultant, fitness trainer, therapist, childcare, or masseuse).
- Balance – You’re trying to find and create a balance in your life while juggling many activities, both personal and professional. You want the freedom and flexibility to enjoy quality time with your family. You also try to care for yourself with exercise, private time with friends and participation in meaningful activities with colleagues: working, volunteering or parenting activities.
- Commitment - You want to be more than “just a mom”. You’re committed to your children but you also want to find a place for a challenging and interesting career. You’re either continuing to work while raising your children or are staying home full-time thinking about possibilities for a career in the future.

The GET IT DONE Action Club is an online resource for entrepreneurial women and moms who are looking to get things done to move their business forward, quickly. It’s the place to further your learning, attract new business opportunities, to promote yourself and to connect with other like-minded women.
What motivates women like me to join?
Many women in home-based businesses experience the frustration that others in their life don’t fully “get” what they do. That’s because you’ll have the opportunity to receive support and advice from successful women in other companies and businesses that you can apply in your own business. The focus is on encouragement and collaboration, not competition.
I’ve also found that many women know many things to grow a business they don’t focus on the systems needed to implement these techniques. As part of the Metromom community you’ll not only learn about these powerful systems, internet marketing strategies, social networking techniques but we’ll also help you with mindset and belief issues that can get in the way of your success. Can I prospect women in the community?
My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where women can come together for support, training, advice and camaraderie. I believe there’s a lot of value in creating meaningful long-term relationships with women of like mind—as business supporters.
This GET IT DONE Action Club is not for those solely interested in prospecting the wonderful women in the community for their own businesses. However, you will have a forum to promote your business. I hope that business relationships are formed—on many levels. For me, it’s about the quality of your intention. What different avenues are available for promoting myself and my business?
As a member there are a variety of ways to promote yourself within the community. By creating a profile you can gain new leads and attract new business opportunities. Meet and connect with potential business partners in The Connection Café. Our Power Circle and Inner Circle members can place ads in our classifieds area that receives thousands of hits per month. As well, Power and Inner Circle members are featured in a 20-minute "In the Spotlight" podcast that's widely distributed.
How can I advertise my business to your community?
There are three ways to advertise to the Metromom community:

- Anyone may advertise with a text link in the Get it Done Guide - our bi-weekly ezine.

I have many women I’d like to tell about your site, can I earn money for these referrals?
Yes. Please spread the word to those you know—your friends and co-workers—and we’ll be happy to pay you affiliate commissions. Just sign up to become an affiliate and earn 50% for each member you refer to The GET IT DONE Action Club for each month they are a member, as well as for products purchased.
Do I need to be a member of The GET IT DONE Action Club to earn affiliate commissions?
No, anyone can become an affiliate, as long as they follow the guidelines.
If I cancel my membership, can I still earn affiliate commissions?
Absolutely! Without your support, those you referred might not be a part of our community. So, to thank you for your referral, we'll happily pay you as long as they remain members.
As a Member of The GET IT DONE Action Club, what are my options if I can’t make a live teleclass?
All calls will be recorded, transcribed and saved in our archives for your access for one month. All calls will be posted to the website within 24-hours so you can listen on YOUR schedule either directly from your computer or download the MP3 file to listen to on your MP3 player. You can also choose to read the transcript, in PDF format, when you have a few spare minutes. All Power and Inner Circle members will receive the GET IT DONE Training calls on a CD delivered to their home.
How is "Green Metromoms" affiliated with Metromom?
As the original Metromom, I am a customer of a direct sales company called Melaleuca – The Wellness Company.
