Dear Fellow Metromom,
A few years ago, I was looking for two different things, never realizing I’d find them in the same place.
First, as a mother of 3 small children, I was tired of the toxic cleaning products I’d been using. Basically all the typical supermarket brands, that’s exactly what I was using. I wanted to make a change to safer healthier alternatives that wouldn’t jeopardize my children’s health. I didn't want the sprays getting in their eyes or landing in my dog's bowl.
Second, I needed to earn a meaningful income but did not want to return to my previous corporate life and never see my kids. Yes, I'd have made the income in that world, but at what personal expense? I was looking for an option that would allow me to work flexibly from home while making the income our family needed.
What I found was a wonderful health and wellness company that allowed me to have both – great quality products delivered right to my door and a business that allows me, and those I work with, to earn extra income while working from home.
