I really enjoyed your blog posts on the past year since you have launched Metromom. Since I am ready to launch my own on-line community I was thankful to hear how your journey has been.

One of the things that resonated for me most was the idea of maintaining my circle of business partners and to see them as supporters/collaborators vs competitors. I really appreciate this and this was a realization for me a couple of months ago. As I worked with my Mastermind group of coaches around my new business plan, I began to fear tI was going to be in competition with them and I worried that if that were the case I would lose an incredible support system for me. As I started to hone in on what my gift was, specifically around designing "in the moment" tools that people can use throughout their day to help them connect with their present moments, I realized that the other coaches on my team had very different foci for their work. With this clarity I got so excited because it meant that I could keep the amazing group of people in my corner as they were they to support me, not to compete with me.
