Hi Gerrianne,
I too am fascinated with limiting beliefs and how simply we can clear through them when we have the awareness. Thx so much for your info about Psych-K.
All my best,
Kim

Hi Kim,

Great post. The whole area of limiting beliefs is fascinating. I especially love the work of Dr. Bruce Lipton on the Biology of Belief. Our beliefs actually affect the DNA in our cells and as you said many of them stem from old statements and conditioning from when we were younger. The research is interesting as it points to our being "whole brained" in how we approach a problem. Most of our limiting beliefs come from our left brain - ego because that is where so many of those growing up voices come from.

One of the easiest ways that I found for shifting our beliefs is through the use of PSYCH-K. This technique uses muscle/kinesthetic testing to see if our subconscious believes a statement is true. It was an eye opener for me when I realized that my subconscious did not believe "it is safe for me to be visible". Well if I am trying to be out there in the world and go global in how I support people, I better believe it is safe for me to be visible. I did a balance (PSYCH-K technique) to help me become more whole brained - once I did that my business has taken off. It is quite amazing. To learn more about PSYCH-K visit http://www.psych-k.com - it is an easy, inspiring process and quite painless. This way we do not spend a bunch of time in "talk therapy" to get to the bottom of our beliefs, we can do some simple techniques and the results speak for themselves.

Regardless of whether you do PSYCH-K or any other form of self-reflection to uncover those subconscious limiting beliefs, the payoffs are endless when you learn to shift them. Thanks again for a great post.
