Preparing the Way for the Next Generation of Metromoms
I’m donating to Junior Achievement as part of Metromom Gives and I’m very excited to send my first check this week. I do so in thanks for the members I have and the community I’ve developed and also in support of the next generation of Metromoms.
This donation comes from $1 of each monthly membership fee for The Get it Done Action Club each and every month. While the Metromom mission is about women helping women to think smarter, plan better and live richer, I believe it’s critical to prepare the next generation to do the same.
Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization and the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. They reach over 8 million students worldwide through programs that teach children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers. Learn more about Junior Achievement.
I want to teach kids to dream big AND make it happen–have a business idea, envision it fully, and see it through completion. I can’t wait to meet the next generation of entrepreneurs.
